Educational Consulting
Our educational consulting services emerged out of our experience as educational staff, but also as therapists who see educators, parents and students as part of our clinical practice. We heard stories from administrators, staff and parents about how busy and overwhelmed they were by the limited support and resources to truly meet the needs of their students.
We will help your school take a birds-eye view of your programs, staff, students and community, consider the limitations that may be too wide or systemic to tackle, and create a plan to set you on the path to meeting your needs.
Our educational consultants are Licensed Clinical Social Workers who also hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) and have extensive experience as both school administrators and school staff members.
From preschool through higher education, in both traditional and alternative schools, we work with school administrators and staff to assess and address many common themes in educational settings:

-
School climate, culture, and morale
-
Challenging student behaviors
-
Understanding how social-emotional issues and neurodiversity impact learning
-
Parent involvement and parent perspectives on the special education process
-
Special education programming
-
Staff training on topics catered to the needs of the individual school
-
Integrating more inclusive programming into your school and classrooms
-
Developing staff support groups to help manage overwhelm and burnout
